Bundaberg Regional Council

Bundaberg Regional Council engaged AVISTRA to conduct an air freight pre-feasibility study for Bundaberg Regional Airport.

Bundaberg Regional Council engaged AVISTRA to conduct an air freight pre-feasibility study for Bundaberg Regional Airport. While there had been a long term interest in developing air freight services for the surrounding community and economies, some rigour was required to uncover what value this might add for the community and whether it was likely to be commercially sustainable.

AVISTRA engaged with stakeholders in the community and along the air cargo value chain, delving deeply into regional trade statistics to deliver recommendations for Council which were supported by rigorous analysis and a detailed understanding of how the air cargo system works.
